The Fort Air Partnership (FAP) is continuing to prepare for the future.
The FAP recently released its Vision 2030 long-term action plan, a document that outlines new and changed initiatives and services the FAP will pursue during the next few years. According to the FAP, the plan is based on research as well as public, government and industry input.
The plan outlines a number of measures aimed at making FAP information more available, improving access to FAP’s programs and expertise and enhancing opportunities for public involvement.
Specific strategies listed in the planning report include making the FAP’s live online data tool more user-friendly and acquiring additional funding, as well as finding new ways, beyond board membership, for the public to get involved in FAP activities.
The FAP has already began implementing some of the strategies outlined in the action plan. Others are still being researched. According to the report, any significant changes to activities and services will be contingent on acquiring sustainable funding.
