Fort Saskatchewan residents might notice a few more emergency vehicles and responders around the city on Tuesday.

The crews and vehicles will be taking part in a Northeast Region Community Awareness Emergency Response (NRCAER) training exercise being held at Chemtrade Logistics.
"Exercises provide the opportunity for our members and partners to test and continuously improve response protocols," said NRCAER executive director Brenda Gheran. "Extensive effort is put into designing these simulations and we appreciate the participation of our members from planning through to exercise completion."
Along with Chemtrade Logistics, responders from the Fort Saskatchewan Fire Department, RCMP, Agrium and Dow will be take part in a field response exercise.
NRCAER is a mutual aid emergency response association formed in 1991. Its members include emergency management professionals from local industry and municipalities.
