The Fort Saskatchewan Fire Department remain on scene after an early morning industrial fire.
At 1:33 a.m. today (August 4), the Fort Saskatchewan Fire Department responded to a quonset structure fire.
The fire happened at a light industrial operation on the north east edge of Fort Saskatchewan on Range Road 220.
"Upon arrival at the site, it was determinded that the site housed a lot of hazardous material and so the fire department acted motored the situatuon and insued the safety of the public," explained fire chief Shawn McKerry.
There are no safety concerns for the public and crews continue to monitor the fire.
There are no injuries or impacts to the area as a result of the fire.
Crews are investigating the cause of the morning blaze.
