Finalists for this year's Business Awards have been revealed.
The 33rd annual gala hosted by the Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce will go on October 20 at the Ross Creek Professional Centre.
"We had a record number of entries this year. Actually, we had over 500 people nominate the incredible businesses, we're so excited," said executive director of the Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, Tamara Dabels.
Fort Dog Fit is up for three awards. Others up for a couple include Fort Orthodontics, Second Cup and Simply Stunning Hair & Makeup.
Small Business: Legendary Barbershop, Fort Orthodontics and Cameron Dental
Franchise of the Year: Jiffy Lube, Remax Real Estate, Second Cup and Your Dollar Store With More
Industry Excellence: Engie Fabricom, Agrium and Shell Canada
Customer Service: Fort Orthodontics, Simply Stunning Hair & Makeup and Fort Dog Fit
Home-based Business: Sugar Mountain Cotton Candy, Amanda Milke Art & Jewelry Studio and Allison Smith Photography
New Business of the Year: Simply Stunning Hair & Makeup, Hidden Gem Hair Salon, Funky Petals and Kinny's Sweet Retreat
Marketing Award: Fort Dog Fit, Mix 107.9, Second Cup, Superior Show Service and Atlantic Kitchen
Entrepreneurial Spirit: Enso Massage Therapy, Fort Dog Fit, Pure Yoga and Behonest Mechanical
