Two rogue prisoners have been found.
At around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday (October 3), Edmonton Police Services located and arrested the two female prisoners who escaped from the Edmonton Institution for Women on Monday.
Officers arrested Kelsie Mast and Samantha Toope walking downtown in the area of 104 Street and 102 Avenue.
Both are violent offenders with a history of weapons offences.
The women had allegedly jumped the east fence of the institution and escaped from the facility.
Mast and Toope will be returned to the custody of Correctional Service Canada.
