Elk Island National Park's numbers are up significantly.
From January to July (2016 to 2017) the park's attendance numbers are up 52 per cent.
"We believe the park pass has played a big part. We are pleased to be offering free admission to the park and we are certainly pleased with the visitors who have chosen Elk Island as a destination of choice," said Elk Island National Park's superintendent Dale Kirkland.
Camping is a popular choice too, with 53 per cent more visitors booking an overnight stay.
With a variety of events planned, the park is expecting numbers to continue to rise for the rest of the year.
