A man has been identified as the shooter after a recent crime spree.
RCMP have charged 20-year-old Cashton L’Hirondelle with aggravated assault, discharging a firearm with intent, discharging a firearm recklessly and using a firearm while committing an offense.
The charges are in relation to a violent crime spree which occurred on Mar.27 in Fort Saskatchewan, Edmonton and in the Gibbons area. Five people, including three youth are facing over 100 charges.
The 38-year-old motorist who was shot remains in hospital with serious injuries.
In total, L’Hirondelle is facing over 40 charges. He is expected to appear in court at 9 a.m. on Thursday (Apr.12).
