The Fort Saskatchewan Food Bank officially have their own vehicle.
Fort Sask Autobody, Titan Towing and South Fort Chev gifted a green Chevrolet Spark to the non-profit organization on Friday.
"We're very exited about it, I think it will be a great asset to us, we'll put it to good use," said Cal South, a volunteer with the food bank.
The Spark will be mostly used for pick-ups and deliveries.
Bennett Douglas, co-owner of Fort Sask Autobody, got the idea after talking with one of the food bank's volunteers. He then brought the idea to the other businesses.
"It shows exactly what the business community of Fort Saskatchewan is all about," said Douglas.
The vehicle reportedly cost around $8000.
A BBQ on the same day, with food provided by Station Square Co-op, raised $550.
