For the first time in years, Bruderheim will have a practicing physician.
Dr. Ebele Mgbor, from the Lamont Health Care Centre, has begun scheduling appointments at the town's newest pharmacy building.
"I hope it makes things easier for the community. Sometimes what they need to see a physician for may not always require being in a hospital, so I'm hoping I can make their lives easier," said Mgbor.
Dr. Mgbor's practice will be in Bruderheim on Thursdays from 2p.m.-7p.m.
Bruderheim Mayor Karl Hauch added that this has been a long time goal for the town.
"This has been years in the making and our residents are very excited to have a local physician," said Hauch.
For appointments at the Bruderheim office, call 780-597-2222.
