Bruderheim's byelection is set.
On July 9, town council will be adding a new member after the passing of Garry Bottorff.
"Municipal affairs said that we need to have the election sooner than later, so administration had to speed things up to get the byelection in place," said mayor Karl Hauch.
Three people will be running for the seat: John McLeod, Wayne Olechow and Jana Semeniuk.
Residents will have a chance to meet the Bruderheim Candidates on Monday (Jun.25) at the Bruderheim Community Hall from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
An advanced vote will be held at the Bruderheim Administration Building on July 5 from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m with the official election at the Bruderheim Community Hall on July 9 from 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Special ballots can also be requested through town office.
