Due to the weather this summer, many of the infrastructure projects in Bruderheim have been delayed.

The delays are not just an issue in Bruderheim, the various storms have pushed back paving in the entire capital region. However, Bruderheim's mayor, Karl Hauch remains positive.

"Everything that we were wanting to get done this year is still on track [to be] done by September," said Hauch.

A major project in West Woodlands involving a complete reconstruction of the road and curbs will be completed by the end of August.

Other projects include paving the senior's centre parking lot, handicap ramps and swales on Queen Street and 51 Street, as well as paving on 45 Street and 56 Avenue.

There's concrete work happening on 54 Street and 55 Ave as well as in three cul-de-sacs in Brookside.

"We had budgeted for just around $2 million and the estimates came in somewhat under that, but we'll see once everything is tallied up."

The work is part of town council's plan to get on top of various infrastructure projects in the town.
