Councillor David Hutton is aiming for the top job in Bon Accord.
His only competition comes from Bonny Swart-Attwood, after mayor Randolph Boyd announced he won't be seeking re-election.
The Town of Bon Accord has a four seat chamber to fill from a long list of seven candidates. Those running include Lorna Pocock (incumbent), Lynn Bidney, Brian Holden, Jennifer MacArthur, Tanya May, Amanda Merritt and Liliana White.
Bon Accord will have an advance poll on October 5 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. while voting on the official election day will be between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Both votes will happen at council chambers at the town office on 50 Avenue.
