Bill Skinner was acclaimed as mayor of Lamont and now, he's eager to get to back work.
Mayor Skinner will be building on his two terms of experience as mayor.
"I feel it's a demonstration of support and confidence from the community," said Skinner.
The acclamation didn't really come as a shock to Skinner, saying he never had any indication that anyone else was mulling a run.
With just two incumbents running in the election, he's excited to meet whoever is elected to council and get back to work.
"We have an ongoing project in our parks area where we have, year by year, expanding what we have in that park and that is starting to gain some momentum," said Skinner. "I certainly hope to continue that."
