Since Monday (July 24), seven kids have learned what it takes to build the toughest robot.

Today (July 27), kids at the Fort Saskatchewan Public Library programmed their Battle Bots to work through a Bluetooth remote.

'I found the instructions for my robot which I thought it looked pretty cool, but chose to add more to it to have it ready for today," explained Colin Clipsham, one of the Battle Bot students.

The kids built with Lego Mindstorm kits, adding propellers, swords and anything to make the bots ready for the competition.

All seven kids had their bots ready to duke it out, with no clear winner.

The interactive program was another success and the library will look to continue the program in the future.
