A Morinville man is facing a laundry list of charges after a night on the town went wrong.
On November 28 at about 10:00 p.m., Morinville RCMP were called out to Coach's Corner Pub.
22 year-old Killian Wood of Morinville refused to pay his tab and assaulted a staff member. Police found Wood outside the pub and arrested him.
After he was arrested, Wood ran off. The RCMP followed him to a residence in town where he then assaulted an RCMP officer and pulled out a weapon, luckily, he was quickly contained.
Wood has been charged with 17 Criminal Code offences:
- Fraudulently obtaining food/beverage
- Assault
- Mischief
- Resisting arrest
- Two counts of assaulting a peace officer
- Seven counts of breaching a condition of undertaking
- Breach of probation
Wood is still in police custody and is scheduled to appear in Morinville court on December 7.
