Morinville RCMP are investigating a stolen credit card.

Sometime between midnight and 6:15 a.m. on August 27, a vehicle was broken into by an unknown man in Alcomdale (Sturgeon County). A wallet with $100 cash, various forms of identification, along with bank and credit cards were stolen.

The suspect then fled to Barrhead, where they used the stolen credit cards at a local gas station, making two purchases.

A male suspect is described as being a slender Caucasian man, about 20-to-25-years-old, clean shaven, wearing a grey hoodie with "crooks" down the sleeve and a light coloured ball cap.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Morinville RCMP at (780) 939-4550, their local police or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
