Richard and Heather Bourne have a few more dollars in their bank account these days.
The couple discovered their LOTTO MAX ticket had won $100,000 on the March 23 EXTRA draw.

“I saw a bunch of zeros and scanned the ticket again and again,” said Richard. “I couldn’t believe it."

The happy winners plan to use their windfall to pay off some bills.

“We don’t have any big plans for our winnings,” said Richard. “We just want to pay off all of our bills and take some time to think about what to do with the rest.”

The Bournes purchased their winning ticket at the 7-Eleven located at 30 Heritage Mills Crossing in Sherwood Park.
Sherwood Park has been a hot spot for recent lottery wins. A group of people were part of a $1 million win, also a mother and daughter won $100,000 on a scratch ticket.
