Local bowlers struck it rich in their second last tournament of the year.

On Sunday (April 9), two bowlers from Fort Lanes represented the club at the Youth Travel League Tournament in Edmonton.

Alex Kingston and Jaden Leckie were part of a combined team that featured Harmony Dawson (Bronx Bowl) and Matthew Cox (Bonnie Doon Lanes).

In the playoff round, the team finished first in the Pins on Average division and fourth overall, winning $50 each.

"They had a lot of fun this season, and it was a lot of fun to coach them." said Carol Kaehn. "They all did very well."

Fort Lanes competes monthly at multiple bowling centres in the Edmonton region; more information on their league play can be found here.
