Gibbons is seeing a drastic drop in soccer players this year.
Typically, close to 200 youth soccer players register each season; this year's registration number currently sits at 150. It's a scarce number of players and even fewer coaches.
"Due to the lack of volunteers on our board, we perhaps didn't get enough on out there for advertising," said Kristafer Locken, president of the Gibbons Minor Soccer Association.
This year, the association will not have any teams over the U12 age group.
Despite the low registration numbers, Gibbons will still have a few travel teams playing in the Tricounty Soccer Association.
