Metro Athletics All-Star will be testing out the junior football market this fall.
Fort High standout defensive back, Ryan Chapman has signed for the upcoming season with the Edmonton Wildcats of the Canadian Junior Football League.
"From the practices I've seen it looks like a good group of guys, they're pretty tight," said Chapman. "The coaching staff seems pretty intense on building relationships and helping everyone out."
After helping the Sting to the second round of playoffs last fall, Chapman will be looking to help turn around a Wildcats program that went 0-9 in 2016.
Chapman added that his goal for the off-season is to get faster and stronger as he will be taking on some of the best U22 players in western Canada.
The Edmonton Wildcats will host their main camp in July.
