The Fort Saskatchewan Rebels' season schedule is set.
Earlier this month, the 2019 Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League (RMLL) Junior B Tier 1 schedule was released, with the Rebels opening up their season against the Olds Mavericks at the JRC on Apr.27.
The 20-game season will start with a four-game homestand in Fort Sask. Aside from the home opener, notable dates include a North Finals rematch with the Edmonton Warriors on May 21 and the Barracuda Lacrosse Club from Regina stopping at the JRC on June 29.
In May, the Rebels will make the trip to Saskatoon to face the SWAT three times. They will start June with a south trip to face Lethbridge and Okotoks.
"We have a team that's ready to win now," said head coach Darren Bourret. "Anything less than going to the Founders Cup this year would be a fail."
A new addition to the north this season is the Sherwood Park Outlaws. The Outlaws, formerly known as the Titans, went 2-18 last season.
Fort Sask comes into the 2019 season as a heavy favourite, with the opportunity to return an offence led by Markus Fouillard, Ethan Eang and Ethan Wong.
The Rebels also picked up highly touted rookies Eric George, Carter Albrecht and Josh McCallion in the draft.
