The Fort Saskatchewan Bantam AAA Rangers were unable to generate much offence in back-to-back losses.
After winning games one and two on the road, the Rangers dropped games three and four against the Red Deer Rebels at the JRC.
Saturday night (Mar.23), Joel Webb scored twice, but it was too little, too late, as the Rebels won 5-2.
On Sunday afternoon, it was much of the same story. Rebels' netminder Kaden Toussaint shut the door in a 3-0 win.
"It is what it is," said head coach Mat Conlon. "When push came to shove, they owned us on the walls and in front of the net."
Fort Sask's powerplay went 0/5 in game four, despite generating some chances.
"We got some really good looks with that first unit, but capitalizing is another ball game," added Conlon. "I'm very confident going into game five, especially with this group in particular."
A series deciding game five will be played Tuesday night in Red Deer. Puck drop is at 7:15 p.m.
