The Rebs ended on the winning side of the Highway 21 battle.
In front of a large home crowd, the Fort Saskatchewan Junior B Rebels defeated the Sherwood Park Titans, 10-7.
The Rebels jumped out to an early lead and ended the first 20 minutes up 3-2.
Jayden Gaucher added a couple goals in the second period as the Rebels increased their lead to 8-6 after the second period.
Jordan Diewert added his third goal of the night in the third period leading to the win.
Goaltender Jacob Parent made some of his finest 50 saves of the game in the dying minutes, earning the win in net.
"You can't treat any game differently, we're mostly 17-18-year-old kids so we've had some learning experiences," said Parent.
The Rebels will have eight days to get ready for their next contest as they welcome the Okotoks Marauders to the JRC on June 17.
