After a tough loss on Monday (January 8), the JP II senior boys basketball team are looking for some revenge.

Parkland Immanuel topped the Patriots 69-65 in the Fort, but head coach Andy Kozitzky isn't too worried.

"It was a close game, we lead for most of it and I feel like it was the fouls that hurt us."

Kurt Sanchez had 23 points in the win and went 3 for 5 from three-point range.

"We didn't have any practices over Christmas break so having two weeks off from basketball took its toll," added Kozitzky.

JP II will start their home tournament on Friday at noon against Fort High.

Parkland Immanuel is also in the bracket.
