The Fort Saskatchewan Junior B Hawks are pushing back after a slow start.
After spotting the Beverly Warriors a 3-0 series lead to start the CJHL semi-finals, the Hawks have clawed their way back to force a Game 7.
Fort Saskatchewan continued their shut down defensive play and the secondary scoring pitched in for a 4-1 win at the JRC on Sunday night (Mar.12).
Matthew Bennett opened the scoring early in the first, before Dylan Dorval added two more to make it 3-1.
Noah Kieser put the game to bed with an empty netter. Goaltender Micah Bonneville continued his steady play, picking up the win.
Game 7 will go Wednesday at 8 p.m. in Edmonton (Clareview Arena).
