After almost 20 years without a home game, high school football fans in the Fort have something to be excited about.
Metro Edmonton High School Athletics released their senior football schedule for 2018 and the Fort Saskatchewan High School Sting will  host four games at the newly completed Taurus Field.
The Sting will kick-off the season on the road in Ardrossan on Sept.5, before welcoming Beaumont to Taurus Field on Sept.13.
Fort Saskatchewan's other lone road game will see them take on Eastglen at Clarke Stadium on Sept.20.
Other teams to make a stop in the Fort this fall will be Holy Trinity (Sep.27), Sturgeon Comp (Oct.5) and Ardrossan (Oct.12).
Fort High capped off last season with a 39-28 win over the M.E. LaZerte Voyageurs in the Gilfillan Championship. The Sting also went the entire regular season without allowing a single point.
