Fort Saskatchewan High School's girls rugby team is showing signs they're growing as a team.
The Sting rugby team continued their development with a good performance at the Pirates Invitational Sevens Rugby Tournament over the weekend.
On Friday the Sting went 2-1, with solid wins over Holy Rosary from Lloydminister and Charles Spencer from Grande Prairie.
The only blemish on the day was a loss to Cardston.
Sevens rugby is a faster paced game with only seven players on the field. The wide open play allows for more skill development.
The Sting take on Archbishop O'Leary today (May 15) at 4:45 p.m. at the JRC.
