The Fort Saskatchewan Bantam AAA Rangers continued their winning ways on Sunday (Nov.4).

With the PAC Saints making a stop at the JRC, the Rangers made quick work of the road team in a 6-0 win.

Fort Sask got off to a hot start, leading 3-0 after the first period thanks to goals from Joel Webb and Carter Spirig (x2). Goaltender Carson Burkart only faced four shots in the opening 20.
“I just have to do the little things right so I don't get dragged out and they catch me off guard,” said Burkart.

Jayden Joly and Rhett Melnyk chipped in with goals in the second period and in the third, Jordan Gustafson put the game far out of reach.

“I don't get as nervous in net since I'm starting to get adjusted to the speed here,” added Burkart, who pitched his second regular season shutout at 18 saves. "We have to keep playing some defence like we have the past five games."

The Rangers next regular season contest will be November 13 against the Knights of Columbus Squires.
