An offensive outburst helped push the Ardrossan U12 boys past Fort Saskatchewan.

Sunday morning (Feb.11), the two clubs met in Sherwood Park for a chance to head to provincials.

Ardrossan dominated the play from start to finish, winning 20-0.

"They did terrific, they recognized themselves as a group, they worked their systems and together as teammates. They communicated well and had a fun game today," said Ardrossan coach Chad Stacey.

"We did pretty good with our passing and shooting, we worked as a team to just move up the pitch together," said Ardrossan player Finn Clements. "We're getting more confident and it's getting easier to beat the other teams if we're confident."

Next up for the U12 boys will be provincials in Okotoks March 16-18.

"I'm thinking if we keep playing like we did today then at provincials we'll do just fine," added Stacey.
