Eight Senior B Warriors have helped the team to a perfect record overseas.
The Alberta Warriors came out firing on all cylinders at the Aleš Hřebeský Memorial Box lacrosse tournament, scoring 30 goals in their first three games.
On Wednesday (April 26), the team took on Chocolax (Switzerland) and cruised to a 9-3 win.
Erik Turner had four goals in the win and Greg Bourret had a goal and two assists.
Thursday morning (April 27), Alberta defeated the Vienna Monarchs 8-1 with Erik Turner and Greg Bourret both finding the back of the net twice.
In the qualification round, the Warriors handily beat Helan Går Lacrosse (Sweden) by a score of 13-1. Tyler Sonnichsen had four goals and an assist in the victory.
Goaltender Jon McMillan has been a brick wall in between the pipes, posting a tournament best .940 save percentage.
Friday (April 28) will welcome the biggest test of the tournament so far, as the Warriors will take on the host club LC Custodes (Czech) in the quarter-finals.
Opening face-off for that game is 6:40 a.m. (MST)
