The Fort Saskatchewan Fire Department (FSFD) was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Wednesday night (Aug.25).
 
The owner of the car said they were having mechanical troubles, pulled into the Dow Centennial Centre parking lot and the vehicle caught fire.
 
"Likely maintenance of some kind," predicted Doug Stein, assistant fire chief of the FSFD.
 
Stein said there were no injuries and the vehicle would be a write-off.
 
"No arson and no foul play or anything," Stein added.
 
The Fort Saskatchewan RCMP also responded to the incident.
