Police have released some details on what they're calling a 'sudden death' in Sherwood Park.
On Nov. 23, at 2:49 p.m., the Strathcona County RCMP responded to a 911 call to assist with a man who was unconscious in the area of Sherwood Drive and the 2000 block in Sherwood Park.
Police say a 29-year-old man was treated on scene and then taken to the hospital. Police attended the hospital but were later told by EMS the man had died.
The man's identification was confirmed with family on Nov.26.
“An autopsy was completed at the Edmonton Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Pending final autopsy and toxicology reports, preliminary indication is that no foul play is suspected in relation to the male’s death,” said RCMP.
The man's name was not released.
