Police are looking for any footage from a fire in downtown Fort Saskatchewan over the summer.

Early on Aug. 14, police and the Fort Saskatchewan Fire Department responded to a structure fire on 99 Avenue and 104 Street.

"Preliminary reports show somebody was leaving the area at the time when the call came in," said RCMP Corporal Lacey Blair.

Police did not have a description of the alleged suspect and deemed the incident suspicious.

Fort Smiles Dental and Kids Fort Child & Out of School Care were destroyed in the fire. The businesses were empty and no injuries were reported.

The Fort Saskatchewan RCMP is asking anyone with information about the incident, including any dash cam or surveillance cameras, to contact the detachment at (780) 997-7900. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers.
