Today is Pink Shirt Day!

I'm hoping to see lot's of pink throughout Fort Saskatchewan today as we stand up against bullying.  The types of bullying has changed over the years now in this tech crazy life.  Forms of bullying can happen on Facebook, Twitter. email, texts and so on.  It's up to all of us to help make the change and be a role model for our youth and let them know that it's NEVER OK to bully.

This afternoon the Boys and Girls club will be parading from the club, along with the RCMP and Fire Department, to Sobey's parking lot.  That will happen around 3:30pm and 4pm.  After 4pm Mayor Gale Katchur will have a Proclamation signing, some poems will be read by the Boys and Girls club and expect a couple of little surprises.

In the evening, Rick Miller, Founder of Kids at Hope, will be speaking at the Shell Theatre from 7 to 9pm.  The event is free and childcare will be provided.  You can contact the Boys and Girls club for more information at 780-992-0103.
