Two golds for Fort Saskatchewan Ringette teams at the Diamond Ring tournament at the JRC and Sportsplex this weekend.

The U10-S2 Ice Crystals and the U16's captured gold, the U12 and U14B girls won silver.

47 ringette bags were stuffed with food bank donations as part of the Stuff A Bag challenge.  Amy McNeil, Public Relations for Fort Saskatchewan Ringette says the U10-S2 girls decided to donate the money they got from fundraising instead of having a Christmas party. McNeil adds the Ringette Executive then decided to include every team taking part in the tournament after the Ice Crystals' Manager Roberta Carriere asked the other Fort Saskatchewan Ringette teams to take part.  McNeil says the parents are very proud of the girls for making this decision.
