STOREY, Michael Andrew

1948-2021

With heavy hearts, the family of Michael Andrew Storey of Fort Saskatchewan are sadden to announce his sudden passing on October 31, 2021 at the age of 73. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda of 50 years; his children, Matt (Rebecca), Melissa and Amy (Jon); grandchildren, Emma, Ethan, Erica, Abby, Mac, Madden, Cael, Parker and Phoenix; sister, Sue Cain; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Storey, as well as numerous in laws, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Stan and Mary Lou Storey; sister, Beth Martelle and twin brother Pat Storey. Mike was born in Sarnia Ontario. He served in the United States Navy from 1968-1970, including a tour of duty in Vietnam. Mike spent 20 years at Dow Chemical. Mike moved his family west to Fort Saskatchewan in 1977. Mike loved to fish with his son, sons-in-law and grandchildren. He loved his family whole heartedly, they were his pride and joy and absolutely nothing he wouldn’t do for them. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 9964 93 Ave, Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
