The Novice 3A Rangers were busy this past weekend in Sherwood Park both Saturday night and Sunday morning. On December 5th they faced off against the Sherwood Park 4A team defeating them 5-1. The Rangers managed to get on the scoreboard twice in the first period with goals from Ryan VanHeccke and Alexander Newman. Half way through the third Sherwood Park answered back with a goal but three minutes later Landen Movold brought the game to a 3-1 lead ending the second period with a two goal lead. The last and final goal came in the third period scored by Adyson O'Shea.

On December 6th, the Rangers were back in Sherwood Park to face their 4D team with a high scoring 7-5 win. Sherwood Park was up 3-1 ending the first with the lone Rangers goal coming from Chasen McClelland. The second period saw Noah Desmet, Noah Carter and Chasen McClelland finding the back of the net bringing the score 5-4 in favor of Sherwood Park.  The Rangers came out strong in the third period getting three more goals passed the Sherwood Park goalie thanks to Noah Desmet, Landen Movold and Noah Corbin ending the game with a 7-5 win. When asked about the win, Rangers Carter Lefebvre credits the hard skating and passing the puck for the win.

The Novice 3A Rangers are back on the road in Sherwood Park this Thursday, December 10th, to face off against their 4B team. The Rangers will be in Smokey Lake this weekend for a tournament before a week off.
