Ronald Banks looks forward to taking it easy after winning $252,871 on a LOTTO 6/49 draw on Jan.5
Banks purchased his winning ticket the day before the draw from the Mobil on 100 Street in Morinville.
“I checked my numbers on WCLC’s website and rushed to the store to double-check that I had actually won,” he said. “I was very happy when the cashier confirmed my win!”
The cheerful winner from Morinville says his only plan so far is to pay off a few bills.
“Really, I just wanted to take it easy!”
Banks won LOTTO 6/49’s second-highest prize by matching five of the main draw numbers and the bonus numbers – 2, 5, 29, 36 and 45, and the bonus number, 23.
