A man is facing multiple charges after an incident in Sherwood Park.
On Thursday (Feb 2), Strathcona County RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious person at a residence.
A male approached a house, said he was there to purchase an iPod and also requested some gas, then immediately left in a red vehicle.
RCMP received two more reports of suspicious activity involving a male, matching the same description.
Police located the vehicle traveling eastbound on Highway 14 and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle continued, pulling into a residential driveway. After getting stuck in deep snow, the man took off on foot before he was arrested by police.
Maxwell Tuck, 23, of Camrose has been charged with break and enter, mischief under $5000, theft of motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, three counts of failing to comply with probation, resisting arrest, flight from police, and driving while disqualified.
The vehicle Tuck was driving was stolen out of Calgary on January 29.
