Fort Saskacthewan Sting back on Offensive after a great interception

The Fort Saskatchewan Sting capped off their season with a great battle against the Beaumont Bandits last night losing 19-0.  Fort Saskatchewan Sting Head coach Peter Vandermuelen said "We Played with them the whole 1st half in the 2nd second half, Zero points against so that's a positive for us."

Vandermuelen reflected on the rest of the season from where The Fort Saskatchewan Sting started with a small roster of 20 players, less than what he anticipated, to seeing the character of his team.

"We definitely found out that we're a team that's not going to quit and that's a big pride issue for us and that's a good thing" Says Vandermuelen.

Now the focus turns to next year, for 2013 Vandermuelen is excited because only 3 players graduate off this years roster and about 10-15 players from the Fort Saskatchewan Bantam Lightning will come into the fold that will bolster up the Fort Sting roster.
