Police are getting more complaints regarding Apple AirTags. 

An AirTag is an Apple device roughly the size of a coin and is used to place on objects for tracking purposes. It was designed to be placed on small items like keys, wallets and is paired to your phone using BlueTooth.

Using the FindMy app on an Apple device, the AirTag allows people to use the radar feature to locate their lost item. 

According to the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP, they have received complaints from people who believe an AirTag was placed on their vehicle for tracking purposes. 

If you receive an AirTag notification to your phone that isn’t related to any of your devices, RCMP asks you call the police for further instruction.
