The Fort Saskatchewan and District Chamber of Commerce has a new membership and business development manager.

Craig Berry is taking over the position from Kyla Pierson, who moved to Kelowna.

Before coming to Fort Saskatchewan, Berry previously worked at the University of Alberta. He helped and supported students as they start their careers in business.

However, his passion has always been not-for-profits in particular.

"I've always enjoyed working in the not-for-profit sector," he said. "This is an incredible opportunity to continue to work with a membership-based organization."

In his new position, he is looking forward to helping strengthen the local business community, especially as people start taking steps to recover from the pandemic.

"I think a robust and engaged business community can help support the entire Fort Saskatchewan area."

Berry is a busy parent and dog owner. He enjoys getting out in the community and encourages people to say 'hi' if they see him.
