Another round of residential snow clearing in Fort Saskatchewan has started.

On Wednesday (Mar.9), crews were out clearing the streets, beginning in the neighbourhoods around Cranberry Bend.

No parking signs will be put up to let people know when they will have to move their vehicles. Crews will start plowing at 7:30 a.m. on the designated day, going through the area until they are finished.

Anyone that doesn't move their vehicles before the snowplows come through could face a $100 fine and have their vehicle towed.

Crews should be wrapping up by Mar.22.

Snow clearing in residential areas starts only after higher priority areas have been completed and when compacted snow is 75 mm thick. If it begins to snow again while crews are working on residential streets, they will go back to clearing the priority areas before picking back up where they left off.
