Candy Cane Lane is back again for the season.
For 50 years, families have taken in the sights and sounds of this must-see holiday event in our capital city.
New this year, Candy Cane Lane will be hosting two car-free nights, Dec.12 and 19 from 6–10 p.m.
These nights, you can plan on parking the car and piling the kids in the wagon (or sled!) to take a stroll down the brightly coloured lane with lots of room for socially distancing and without worrying about traffic.
A couple of tips for making the most of your night:
- Make sure to bundle up! It could get cold, especially if you are walking the whole lane.
- Bring a wagon or a sled for the kids, a great way to haul some extra blankets and keep that hot chocolate handy.
Candy Cane Lane runs from Dec.10 - Jan.1. It is open every night until 10 p.m. for anyone to enjoy.
The free attraction is located on 148 Street from 92 to 99 Avenue in Edmonton.
