Bruderheim Town Council for the 2017-2021 term was sworn in with a packed audience.
With a rendition of "Oh Canada" sung, one by one, councillors were sworn in by town manager Patty Podoborozny (after mayor Karl Hauch).
"I think we have a great council going forward, we have a great mix of experience and energy and I feel a buzz in the room from the excitement," said Hauch. "I'm looking forward to the future for Bruderheim."
Along with mayor Hauch, councillors Judy Schueler, Patricia Lee and George Campbell return for another term.
"I think we have an opportunity to be a great council for the town of Bruderheim, we have a good team with our administration and public works and council."
Gary Bottoroff, Len Falardeau and Patrick Crawford are the newcomers.
With recently annexed land, council is aiming for the town's sustainability, hoping to attract more residents, businesses as well as industrial players.
Council held their organizational meeting afterwards with positions on various boards and committees divvied up.
