Former Fort Saskatchewan Ranger Brandon Ralph scored his third goal of the Western Hockey League playoffs last night.

Brandon Ralph scored the final goal of the game as his Everett Silvertips won 4-2 over the Portland Winterhawks to win the first round series 4-games-to-nothing.  The former Oil King also has a plus 5 plus/minus and four penalty minutes this playoffs and is two goals shy of his regular season goal total. Tyson Baillie also played for the Fort Rangers and got an assist but his Kelowna Rockets lost 5-1 in Kamloops, the series is now tied 2-2.  The Calgary Flames prospect was seventh place in WHL scoring in the regular season and leading scorer of Kelowna during the regular season by 28 points.  Baillie has a plus 2 plus/minus, two assists and four penalty minutes in four playoff games.

Another former Ranger Kole Gable did not play in the Edmonton Oil Kings' 3-1 game three loss to first place in the East Brandon.  Gable had four penalty minutes in two games in Manitoba.  During the regular season with the Oil Kings, Kole had 6 goals, 5 assists, 11 points, -6 +/- and 30 PIM in 53 games.  The Oil Kings play game four tonight, and lead the first round series 2-games-to-1.
