The Fort Saskatchewan and District Chamber of Commerce held their 37th annual Business Awards Thursday (Dec. 2) evening.
Similar to last year, the awards were presented in a video format. The chamber had initially planned for an in-person event with a roaring 20s theme, but it was moved online due to the continuing uncertainty from COVID-19.
Close to 400 nominations were submitted to the chamber, according to executive director Tamara Dabels.
"To have that many nominations pour in, just that support for the business community, it was very heartwarming," she said. "To have the community come out and go, 'hey, we see you, and you're doing a good job, and we appreciate you,' I think that just means more than words."
